ABD

Yesterday at 4:00pm Jim presented his doctorate proposal. He is now officially ABD (All But Dissertation) Yea!
I got to go to the presentation and he did amazing! Calm and confident he spoke for the exact 20 minutes showing how much knowledge he has on his subject (biography and case study on 19th century artist-teacher George Wallis), yes I learned a lot too.
During the question and answer period he was exceptional also. It was the part I was nervous about :)
I was so proud. I couldn't help but think just how far we have come in our 12 years together.
So in just a few short months Jim will have his Ed.D. And I'll be married to a Doctor (well, sort of)
